Sono LAURA BOCCACCIARI, in arte ALLORO, nasco a Sesto San Giovanni nel 1979. L'immaginazione è stata il mio strumento principale di adattamento, la creatività il meccanismo principale di riequilibrio della realtà. Nei miei quadri c'è questo: c'è libertà espressiva, c'è imprevisto e soluzione, c'è la ricerca di un equilibrio per nulla scontato, da raggiungere con caparbietà e stupore. Nei mei quadri vedo un luogo disarmato e disarmante, desideroso di penetrare la parte più autentica di chi la osserva.

Ho iniziato a dare sfogo alla pittura, dopo quasi 10 anni di attività come Tatuatrice. Era Novembre 2020, si tornava ad un periodo di zona rossa, ero in piena crisi sul futuro, la creatività si riversò sulla pittura, cominciai a dipingere, prima con china su carta cotone, temi astratti fluidi e pacificanti, poi acrilico su tela, decisamente più energici e materici.

Oggi proseguo su tela preferibilmente di grande formato, con acrilico, campiture piene e materiche in cui convivono calma ed elettricità, in un equilibrio a volte dissonante a volte armonico.

La mia aspirazione è quella di "...poter vedere il mondo esterno e quello interiore, non come appaiono a un animale ossessionato dalle parole e dai concetti, ma come li afferra l'intelletto in genere, direttamente, senza condizionamenti, ...."  (cit. Aldous Huxley),

I am LAURA BOCCACCIARI, in art ALLORO, born in Sesto San Giovanni in 1979. Imagination has been my main tool of adaptation, creativity the main mechanism of rebalancing reality. In my paintings there is this: there is expressive freedom, there is unexpectedness and solution, there is the search for a balance not at all taken for granted, to be reached with stubbornness and amazement. In my paintings I see a disarmed and disarming place, eager to penetrate the most authentic part of the observer. 

 

I began to give vent to painting after almost 10 years as a Tattooist. It was November 2020, it was back to a red zone period, I was in the midst of a crisis about the future, creativity poured into painting, I began to paint, first with India ink on cotton paper, fluid and pacifying abstract themes, then acrylic on canvas, definitely more energetic and textural.

 

Today I continue on canvas preferably large format, with acrylic, full and textural backgrounds in which calm and electricity coexist, in a balance sometimes dissonant sometimes harmonious.

My aspiration is to "...be able to see the outer and inner worlds, not as they appear to an animal obsessed with words and concepts, but as the intellect generally grasps them, directly, without conditioning, ...." (quoting Aldous Huxley),
